If one had the opportunity to examine some of Jim McNamee's early
roles, perhaps his career wouldn't have seemed so far fetched.
From teenage werewolf to gunslinger to prairie father, he played
each part with the gusto required in both hair and personality.
After a brief flirtation with alcoholism, Jim McNamee began criss-crossing
the country helping those in need until they came to terms with
their shortcomings and he could move further along his "highway
to the heavens", as he called it at the time. After his sixth
season wasn't picked up, Jim McNamee turned his focus to the clarinet.
The 90's saw the birth of Jim McNamee's brief decade-long stint
as principle clarinet with the Berlin Philharmonic, Berlin, PA.
Mr. McNamee currently resides in Virginia with his 3 dogs.
